This announcement comes as no surprise, Michigan has been linked to the bowl for the past week. The game will be played on New Years day at 12 ET and will be broadcast on ESPN2.
South Carolina has improved since last season under former Florida head coach Will Muschamp, finishing second in the SEC East.
We’ll have plenty of coverage throughout the month leading up to the game.
