Now that we know the Wolverines are heading to Tampa to play South Carolina in the Outback Bowl, now seems like a decent time to reflect on this past season and look at some of the top plays from what was a very interesting 2017 season.

I think the play most will remember is the 79-yard punt return from freshman Donovan Peoples-Jones against Air Force at The Big House. It was an electric play that put some life into the crowd and put Michigan in front by double digits. The offense really struggled to move the ball, and this play gave Michigan all the momentum it needed to get the W.

Another play that comes to mind was from Michigan’s Week 1 tilt with Florida. With the clock going against the Gators, and with them backed into their own end zone, Michigan’s leader in sacks in 2017 knew what he had to do.

One of my personal favorites is Khaleke Hudson’s one-handed/armed TFL against Minnesota. This guy had the game of his life against the Golden Gophers, and his TFL using just one hand/arm was brilliant. Skip ahead to the 3:30 mark to view the play.
