It started with a Snapchat. This morning a screencap from a Snapchat account allegedly belonging to Ole Miss RS sophomore safety Deontay Anderson was making the rounds on Twitter and Michigan boards. It showed Jim Harbaugh seated at a table, studying a menu.

Then came the plane. Shortly before Noon, Chase Parham, a writer for the Ole Miss Rivals affiliate, posted a picture of one of Michigan’s private jets used by Harbaugh for recruiting and other official travel. The implication was that Harbaugh was in Oxford, MS, home of Ole Miss.

Finally, the confirmation came. Deontay Anderson, Shea Patterson, and Van Jefferson are expected to visit Michigan this weekend. The talented trio are among those transferring from Ole Miss following the NCAA’s imposition of sanctions on the program.

Notably, none of the three will be covered by the transfer waiver put in place for rising seniors. However, it has been widely reported that transferring underclassmen are seeking transfer waivers for themselves, arguing that they were misled by the former coaching staff about the potential sanctions during recruitment.
