Michigan is in serious consideration for several Ole Miss players looking to transfer due to the sanctions given recently by the NCAA. The process is definitely heating up with the activity and talk that several, including Shea Patterson, are visiting Michigan this weekend.

There were also sightings of Jim Harbaugh and a Michigan plane in Oxford on Tuesday. It was reported that he was out to eat with safety Deontay Anderson. The story is catching notice of many who cover college football.

While no decision by a player has been officially announced, it was reported that seven Ole Miss players are interested in transferring to Michigan. This was first reported by Rival’s Andrew Vailliencourt.

Let's go through the entire group and get to know the players. The first player is who many feel will decide on Michigan very soon, which means several more may follow him.

Quick Breakdown: He was the No. 1 ranked QB in the 2016 class and No. 4 overall player (No. 1 in FL), according to 247Sports.

Shea played three games at Ole Miss as a true freshman in 2016 before enduring a season-ending knee injury in late October against LSU. In 10 games played at Ole Miss, he's thrown for 3,139 total yards for 23 touchdowns.

He’s one that first showed interest in Michigan, has family in southwest Ohio and has always dreamed of playing in The Big House. It has been a developing story since the Ohio State game, and started to make traction over the last few days. Sam Webb also put in his prediction on Tuesday, and our own Trevor Woods had a huge update in the recruitment of Patterson.

2. Van Jefferson
