Class of 2017 four-star linebacker Willie Gay has committed to Mississippi State.
The 6-foot-2, 225-pound athlete from Starkville High School (MS) picked the Bulldogs over LSU, Michigan, Alabama, and Ole Miss.
Gay is the 73rd-best player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports. He is the No. 3 ranked linebacker and the No. 2 player in the state of Mississippi.
The linebacker committed to Ole Miss on June 17th, but decommitted from the Rebels on October 24th. Gay mentioned after his leaving Ole Miss that Michigan was his leader, but his officially visit to Mississippi State on January 13th changed his mind.
Mississippi State has linebacker commitments in Tyler Dunning (OLB) and Gay (OLB) in the 2017 class.
