Josh Wilk has earned a spot on the Michigan Wolverines football team as a preferred walk-on after successfully making the team after a tryout.
The quarterback and safety announced the news on his Twitter account on Thursday.

Wilk, a 2016 graduate of De La Salle High School (MI), helped lead the Pilots to the 2014 Division 2 state championship.
On Monday and Tuesday, the Wolverines took applications for walk-on tryout spots from students. Michigan did not announce how many players earned walk-on spots from the 2017 tryouts in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
