2018 LB Brian Asamoah to visit Michigan on March 18th

The 6-foot-0, 205-pound athlete has 11 Division 1 offers.

Class of 2018 linebacker Brian Asamoah told MaizenBrew that he will visit Michigan on March 18th.

“I’m visiting Michigan to get a better feel of the program,” he said. “What makes them special is their leader, who is coach Jim Harbaugh. The impact he has brought to the program in a short period of time is unreal. You can only imagine what he is going to do over time.”

The 6-foot-0, 205-pound athlete from St. Francis De Sales has offers to play for Cincinnati, Duke, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Toledo, and UCLA. Asamoah does not have any leaders at this point in his recruitment.

“As of right now, I’m not going to short hand any of the schools that have offered me.” Asamoah said. “I’m taking time this spring to visit schools to see where I could see myself playing. But, I am highly interested in Michigan.”

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has led the Wolverines to a 20-6 record across his first two seasons with the program. Michigan has been to back-to-back bowl games and Asamoah has taken notice.

“I feel good about Michigan,” the outside linebacker said. “I love the direction the programs heading towards under coach (Jim) Harbaugh.”
