The 6-foot-0, 205-pound athlete will commit to a program on April 21st.
Asamoah has been on campus at all of his Top 6 schools, except Michigan and UCLA. He told Maize n Brew that he will head to Ann Arbor on March 18th.
“Michigan has said I’ll be like a Jabrill Peppers, that’s how they’d like to use me,” he said. “I’m versatile and can play the safety or linebacker position. So they say I can fill that role if I can handle it. I’m taking a visit there March 18, so I can sit down with them and get a better understanding of the plan they have for me. What coach (Jim) Harbaugh’s been able to do since he’s been there, it’s just good football.”
He is ranked No. 593 in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports Composite. He is the 45th-best outside linebacker and the No. 24 ranked player in the state of Ohio.
