“The date is not set, but it’ll be in April,” he said.
The Loganville (GA) Grayson athlete is the No. 2 ranked player in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He is the best at his position and is ranked No. 1 in the state of Georgia.
Pappoe has been actively talking with Michigan linebacker coach Chris Partridge.
“He talks to me every other week,” he mentioned. “He says they want to use me like they did Jabrill (Peppers).”
Pappoe, at 6-foot-1, 205 pounds, has offers to play for Alabama, Auburn, Georia, Tennessee, Boston College, Brigham Young, California, Cincinnati, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Jacksonville State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Massachusetts, Memphis, Miami (FL), Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Penn State, South Alabama, South Carolina, TCU, Texas-San Antonio, Tulane, UAB, USC, Vanderbilt, and West Virginia.
“Michigan is high on my list, but I’m still open to all schools,” the athlete from Grayson said.
The 247Sports Crystal Ball currently shows Georgia, Tennessee, Florida State, and Alabama as his top schools, but that all could change after a visit to Ann Arbor.
“This will be my first time up, so I’m ready to see everything they have to offer,” the linebacker said.
