Colombus (OH) St. Francis De Sales 2018 three-star linebacker Brian Asamoah will visit Michigan on April 8th.
The 6-foot-0, 205-pound outside linebacker planned to visit Ann Arbor on March 18th, but had to reschedule.
“I will not be visiting Michigan this week,” he said told Maize n Brew when canceling his first planned trip. “Due to coach (Jim) Harbaugh saying he will not be there to meet me, so I am scheduling a new date to visit when he is there.”
Asamoah announced a Top 6 of Penn State, Pittsburgh, Michigan, Cincinnati, West Virginia, and UCLA on February 24th. He also set a commitment date for April 21, 2017. However, after adding an offer to Michigan State and others, the linebacker has postponed his commitment date.
The three-star prospect has offers to play for Cincinnati, Kentucky, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, UCLA, West Virginia, Boston College, Buffalo, Colorado State, Duke, Eastern Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa State, Minnesota, Notre Dame, Purdue, Rutgers, Toledo, and Wisconsin.
He is ranked No. 617 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 45th-best at his position and is ranked No. 25 in the state of Ohio.
