Thompson-Robinson arrived in Ann Arbor on Thursday and will be in town for the Michigan Spring Game on April 15th.
“I am looking forward to seeing how coach Pep (Hamilton) works with the quarterbacks,” he said.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound dual-threat quarterback is ranked No. 50 in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports Composite. He is the fourth-best at his position and the No. 2 ranked player from the state of Nevada.
Thompson-Robinson, a quarterback at Bishop Gorman High School (NV), has offers to play for Alabama, Michigan, Oregon, UCLA, North Carolina, Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, California, Colorado, Colorado State, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Hawaii, Houston, Louisville, LSU, Miami (FL), Michigan State, Missouri, San Diego State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, UNLV, and Utah.
He has been recruited to play for Michigan by quarterbacks coach Pep Hamilton and running backs coach Jay Harbaugh. Thompson-Robinson is not close with any of the players at Michigan.
“I’m not close with any of the players,” he mentioned. “I got to talk a lot with Wilton (Speight), the quarterback, on my last visit. I am looking to watch him, talk with him more on this visit, and keep picking his brain on the program.”
Brevin Jordan, a four-star tight end from Bishop Gorman, will also be in attendance for the Michigan Spring Game. Thompson-Robinson said he is not a package deal with the tight end.
“I already know where Brevin (Jordan) is going, so no we aren’t a package deal,” he said.
Thompson-Robinson included Michigan in his Top 3 because coach Jim Harbaugh is a “QB guru and the Michigan education.”
