Along with the Wolverines, Purdue also made a stop at Thompkins High School.
“Growing up, I always liked Michigan,” he said to Orion Sang of UMHoops. “I don’t know — I live in Texas — but I always had a liking for Michigan. And then for them to recruit me, it’s just been like a dream come true.”
Michigan coach John Beilein last visited Bieniemy on March 28th.

“They’ll probably hit me up once a week, see how I’m doing and tell me about the system and how I’d fit in the system,” Bieniemy, who Beilein compares to Caris LeVert, said.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound athlete is ranked No. 119 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 28th-best shooting guard and the No. 8 ranked player in the state of Texas. Bieniemy has offers to play for Creighton, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State.
