Twin three-star CBs Gemon Green and German Green commit to Michigan

The DeSoto (TX) High School athlete committed to Michigan, along with his brother, German.

Class of 2018 three-star cornerbacks Gemon Green and German Green, from DeSoto (TX) High School, have committed to Michigan. The twin brothers will play for the Wolverines.

Gemon, a 6-foot-2, 165-pound athlete, is ranked No. 340 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 32nd-ranked cornerback and the No. 47 ranked player from the state of Texas.

“Michigan is a great school with great coaches and the facility is nice,” Gemon said after committing to the Maize and Blue.

German, a 6-foot-2, 168-pound athlete, is ranked No. 934 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 84th-ranked cornerback and the No. 120 ranked player from the state of Texas.

“Michigan is a great school and has a great coaching staff,” German mentioned.

The Green twins committed fresh off a visit to Ann Arbor on April 19th.

“I’m in love with Michigan because its a great school and the football team is good,” German said. “I love the way he (Jim Harbaugh) coaches. He is a great coach.”

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh offered Gemon on February 7th and German on March 16th. During the Opening Nike Regional at AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Gemon earned camp MVP honors and a spot in The Opening Finals in Beaverton, Oregon on June 30th.

The duo have been a package deal since Day 1. That fact proved to be true on Thursday, as Gemon and Germon committed to Michigan.
