Former Michigan point guard Derrick Walton Jr. has signed with Priority Sports to start his professional career, the agency announced on Thursday.

Priority Sports was founded and currently run by Mark Bartelstein. His son, Josh, played for Michigan under John Beilein. The agency represents Nick Stauskas of the Philadelphia 76ers, Tim Hardaway Jr. of the Atlanta Hawks, and Mitch McGary.
Walton led Michigan to a Big Ten Tournament championship and took the Wolverines to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. He was named Michigan’s 2016-17 Most Valuable Player on April 12th.
