Class of 2017 quarterback Tristan Hughes has committed to Michigan as a preferred walk-on, he announced on Twitter.

Hughes led San Diego (CA) Poway High School to a 10-2 record during the 2016 season.
The 6-foot-1, 184-pound pro-style quarterback is the second quarterback commit for Michigan in the 2017 class, along with four-star quarterback Dylan McCaffrey, who earned a scholarship to play for the Wolverines.
