2017 NFL Draft: Broncos Select Jake Butt With The No. 145 Overall Pick

Now we know where the Butt is headed.

NCAA Football: Rutgers at Michigan Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

Michigan Wolverines star tight end Jake Butt will be taking his talents to the Denver Broncos, where he’ll bolster the tight end corps and give his unique flair to the offense. He comes off the board with the first pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

J-Booty has an ACL injury to recover from still, but he’s ahead of schedule there and will be a stud candidate at the next level. If he turns into one of the top tight ends in the league, expect some interesting endorsement possibilities.

We’re going to miss his clutch catches and amazing plays, but the NFL will certainly be the better for it. Good luck, Mr. Butt.
