Pep Hamilton’s old haunting grounds are, ironically, Jabrill Peppers’ new home: the two-way maestro will try building up the Cleveland Browns into a respectable NFL franchise, which is precisely the job Pep Hamilton just abandoned to go join Jim Harbaugh at Michigan.
Peppers’ first assignment will be offense, defense, special teams, assistant to the general manager, custodian, part-time electrician, advocate for the state of Ohio, college scout, helping with roof repair, part-time sous chef, and dishwasher. He’ll have a particularly hard time with that Ohio bit.
So - will he be the next Deone Bucannon, the next Charles Woodson, or simply the first Jabrill? Or, will he be a bust? You decide:
