Michigan center Moritz Wagner and power forward D.J. Wilson have both received invitations to the 2017 NBA Draft Combine, according to Jeff Goodman of ESPN.
Guys that haven’t signed with agents who have been invited to Draft Combine: Cam Oliver (Nevada), Caleb Swanigan, Mo Wagner, D.J. Wilson.
— Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanESPN) April 29, 2017
Since Wagner and Wilson entered the NBA Draft without signing with an agent, the duo have the option to return to play for the Wolverines in 2017-18. If the former Wolverines perform well at the Combine, which runs from May 9-14 in Chicago, they could boost their draft stock to a first-round pick and earn the guaranteed contract that follows.
The deadline to withdrawal from the NBA Draft is May 24th.
According to Goodman, Michigan point guard Derrick Walton Jr. is on the “alternate list” for the 2017 NBA Draft Combine.
