“Michigan came by my school and talk to my coach and said they were offering,” he said to MnB. “I love the way they use the tight end and the culture is great.”
The 6-foot-6, 222-pound athlete has offers to play for Florida, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Baylor, Colorado, Missouri, Oregon, Duke, Houston, North Texas, Texas-San Antonio. Stogner’s father, Brad, played wide receiver for Baylor.
“I’m most interested in Oklahoma, Florida State, TCU, and Michigan,” Stogner said.
The Texas product believes he resembles one of the best tight ends in the National Football League in Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots.
“I resemble Gronk because of his versatility,” he added.
Stogner will visit Michigan this summer, but does not have a specific time picked out yet.
