Class of 2018 three-star quarterback Tyler Shough, from Chandler (AZ) Hamilton, is visiting Michigan this weekend.

Shough is ranked No. 542 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 20th-best pro-style quarterback and is ranked No. 4 in the state of Arizona.

The 6-foot-5, 187-pound athlete has offers to play for Indiana, Michigan, South Carolina, Alabama, Colorado State, Columbia, Cornell, Florida State, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisville, Missouri, Nevada, Oregon State, San Jose State, Texas-San Antonio, Washington State, Western Kentucky, and Yale.

The 247Sports Crystal Ball has 10 votes (100 percent) for Shough to Michigan.

In 12 games for Hamilton High School, Shough completed 142-of-228 passes (62.3 percent) for 2,079 yards, 27 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He carried the ball 57 times for 102 yards and two scores.

Jim Harbaugh wants two quarterbacks in the 2018 class and he might get his wish. 2018 four-star quarterback Joe Milton, from Orlando (FL) Olympia, committed to the Wolverines on May 7, 2017. Michigan is trending north with Shough.

Milton is ranked No. 245 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the ninth-best pro-style quarterback and is ranked No. 44 in the state of Florida. He will attend the Elite 11 Finals, which starts on June 2nd.

Michigan has eight players committed to its 2018 class, including four-star quarterback Joe Milton, four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor, four-star cornerback Myles Sims, four-star linebacker/safety Otis Reese, four-star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, three-star cornerback Gemon Green, three-star running back Christian Turner, and three-star cornerback German Green.

The depth chart at quarterback for Michigan in 2018 could include fifth-year senior Wilton Speight, redshirt sophomore Brandon Peters, second-year Dylan McCaffrey, and true freshman Milton.

If Shough did not want to be apart of the potential quarterback battle, then he would not be visiting this weekend. However, he is visiting, meaning he is open to any and all competition.
