On Friday, Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno stopped by Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei to visit a few prospects, Maize n Brew learned.

He checked in on 2018 five-star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, 2018 four-star offensive tackle Tommy Brown, and 2019 four-star quarterback JT Daniels.

St. Brown, a 6-foot-0, 191-pound wide receiver, is ranked No. 19 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the third-best at his position and is ranked No. 3 in the state of California.
Michigan is one of the schools recruiting Brown the hardest. Along with the Wolverines are some major recruiting rivals going after the receiver.
“I would say Ohio State, Notre Dame, Stanford, Michigan, USC, UCLA, and Alabama are recruiting me the hardest,” he mentioned. “I do not have any top schools right now.”
St. Brown will commit after his senior season.
Brown, a 6-foot-7, 313-pound offensive tackle, is ranked No. 139 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the 12th-best at his position and is ranked No. 17 in the state of California.
“Tim Drevno was just saying how he enjoyed watching me practice and he likes the way my body is filling out,” Brown mentioned.
Daniels, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound pro-style quarterback, is ranked No. 8 in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He is the best at his position and is ranked No. 2 in the state of California.
