Class of 2019 four-star offensive guard Keiondre Jones, from Hogansville (GA) Callaway, will release his Top 10 soon. He told Maize n Brew that Michigan will “most likely” make the list.
“Michigan was one of the schools I dreamed about playing for when I was young,” he said to MnB. “Now, I have the opportunity.”
Jones is ranked No. 80 in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He is the fourth-best offensive guard and the No. 12 ranked player in the state of Georgia.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound picked up an offer from Michigan on May 4th.
“I didn’t expect them to offer,” Jones mentioned. “I didn’t even know they were interested until the day before.”
He has offers to play for schools all across the nation, including Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State, Alabama, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, N.C. State, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Tennessee, Troy, Tulane, UAB, and Vanderbilt.
“I haven’t decided on a top school yet,” he said. “There are several I am interested in.”
As for Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, Jones likes what he has seen and heard.
“I don’t know much about him,” he commented. “But, he’s a very good coach and a great man from what I hear. I like that.”
