Class of 2018 four-star tight end Mustapha Muhammad, from Missouri City (TX) Ridge Point, has included Michigan in his Top 10.
Along with the Wolverines, Muhammad included Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, and USC.
“I put Michigan in my Top 10 because I like Michigan’s usage of the tight end and coach Jim Harbaugh as a person,” Muhammad said to Maize n Brew.
The 6-foot-4, 235-pound tight end is ranked No. 91 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He is the fourth-best at his position and is ranked No. 10 in the state of Texas. Muhammad has 24 predictions in on the 247Sports Crystal Ball, all of which point toward Michigan.
In the 2016 season with Ridge Point, Muhammad caught 29 passes for 430 yards and four touchdowns.
Muhammad most recently visited Michigan on April 15 for the Spring Game. He bonded with 2018 four-star tight end Brevin Jordan, a Miami (FL) commit, and 2018 four-star quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson, a UCLA commit.
