Class of 2019 four-star offensive tackle Kenyon Green, a LSU commit, was surprised by his offer from Michigan.
“It was a surprise,” Green said to Maize n Brew.
The 6-foot-5, 315-pound athlete from Humble (TX) Atascocita committed to LSU on December 11, 2016. He has offers to play for LSU, Florida, Georgia, Houston, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas State, and UCLA.
“I’m most interested in Texas, LSU, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma in no order,” he said. “I’m looking forward to Michigan being one of my top schools.”
Green said the only way for Michigan to make his top list of schools is to make him feel at home. The only way to figure that out is to take a visit to Ann Arbor, which could be on the way for the offensive tackle.
He is ranked No. 19 in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He is the second-best at his position and is ranked No. 2 in the state of Texas.
