Also in his top list, Parsons selected Ohio State, Nebraska, Miami (FL), Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, and Penn State. The U.S. Army All-American Bowl player committed to Penn State on February 27, 2016 and decommitted from the Nittany Lions on April 23, 2017.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound weak-side defensive end is ranked No. 3 in the 2018 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. Parsons is ranked No. 1 at his position and is the top player in the state of Pennsylvania.
Parsons, along with other top recruits across the nation, will play in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas on January 6th.
Of the 19 votes in the 247Sports Crystal Ball for Parsons, 63-percent have him going to Ohio State, while the other 37-percent predict him to play in Happy Valley for Penn State.
Parsons has not set a decision date.
