Class of 2019 four-star offensive tackle Warren McClendon, from Brunswick (GA) High School, told Maize n Brew that he will release his Top 10 soon.
“I’ll be narrowing down my recruitment pretty soon,” he told MnB. “It will be my Top 10.”
The 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive tackle has offers to Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia State, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Tennessee. Chris Partridge, the linebackers coach for the Wolverines, has been recruiting McClendon.
“I wasn’t expecting the offer from Michigan because they’ve never contacted me before, so it was kind of a surprise,” he said.
McClendon, according to 247Sports, is ranked No. 219 in the 2019 class. He is the 27th-best at his position and is ranked No. 20 in the state of Georgia.

McClendon believes Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is good at what he does and is hoping to visit Ann Arbor at some point in the future.
“I really don’t know much about Jim Harbaugh, but from what I’ve heard he’s a really good coach,” the offensive tackle added. “I haven’t made plans yet because of how far away Michigan is, but I plan on visiting there.”
