On May 19th, Jammie Robinson, a 2019 three-star athlete, earned an unexpected offer. It was from Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines.
“I was not expecting it,” he told Maize n Brew. “It was a surprise.”
Robinson is ranked No. 268 in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He is the 34th-best at his position and is ranked No. 26 in the state of Georgia.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete, from Cordele (GA) Crisp County, has offers to play for Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Southern Miss, Tennessee, and Vanderbilt. Michigan linebackers coach Chris Partridge is recruiting Robinson to join the Wolverines.
“The schools I like right now are Alabama, South Carolina, Michigan, LSU, and Florida State,” he said. “I really don’t have schools that I’m most interest in because schools can’t recruit me as hard right now.”
Robinson mentioned that he likes Michigan because the coaches believe he could be used like Jabrill Peppers.
