Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines will be headed to New Orleans, Louisiana for a satellite camp with Tulane on June 9th.
On the same date, the Wolverines are also scheduled to be in Nashville, Tennessee to work a satellite camp with Tennessee State. During the past two satellite camp tours, doubling up on dates was a common occurrence for the Maize and Blue.
Last year, Michigan stopped at almost 40 different venues for satellite camps. However, both camps were at high schools. The NCAA Division I Council passed a decree on April 14th that schools could only work 10 days in June or July. The other important precedent is that the camps must take place on a college campus.
Michigan is scheduled to appear at satellite camps at Valdosta State (Georgia) on June 4th, UCLA (California) on June 11th, Tennessee State (Tennessee) on June 9th, and Tulane (Louisiana) on June 9th.
Michigan has seven players committed to its 2018 class, including four-star offensive guard Emil Ekiyor, four-star cornerback Myles Sims, four-star linebacker/safety Otis Reese, four-star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, three-star cornerback Gemon Green, three-star running back Christian Turner, and three-star cornerback German Green.
