Former Michigan guard Andrew Dakich announced on Friday that he is transferring to play for Quinnipiac.

He will play his fifth-year for the Bobcats, who are in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Dakich is immediately eligible to play in the 2017-18 season.

Dakich played in 49 career games for the Wolverines. He scored 22 points and added 21 assists to his resume. He played three seasons at Michigan from 2013 to 2016.

Injuries prevented Dakich from redshirting during the three years at Michigan, but he was finally able to do so in the 2016-17 season. He averaged 4.6 minutes per game in 20150-16 with Michigan.

Dakich will be on scholarship with Quinnipiac.
