Michigan sits in a good spot with 2018 4-star DB

Taylor-Stuart plans on cutting down list after visits

NCAA Football: Michigan at Iowa Reese Strickland-USA TODAY Sports

4-star Defensive Back Isaac Taylor-Stuart out of San Diego, California has 49 offers, and “each one is a blessing,” he said to MnB.

Taylor-Stuart has a top list he is interested in though, and that list is made up of: Michigan, LSU, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, FSU, Washington, Nebraska, Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia, USC, Alabama, Texas A&M, Illinois, and Utah.

If you counted that is 16 teams. “I am just sitting back and enjoying the process, and I will start to cut down after official visits,” Taylor-Stuart said on why he had a top 16 list.

“One thing that sticks out with Michigan, is the coaching staff is full of positive people, and great coaches. Also the winning tradition at Michigan stands out to me.”

Some other schools that stick out to Taylor-Stuart are: Ohio State, Texas A&M, Oregon, and Illinois.

“Those schools I have a great connection to, especially with Illinois, I have a great family connection with them.”

Taylor-Stuart said his decision will mainly be based on how he feels the fit is within the program.

Michigan already has three defensive backs committed in the 2018 cycle, but they are looking around for one more and Isaac Taylor-Stuart would be the perfect fit. He’s got great size at 6’1”, 185, and he’s physical with great footwork and hips for blanket one-on-one coverage. His highlights can be found here.
