Its July 15 and we are less than 50 days until the return of Michigan football. Anyone who is done with summer, like I am in mid-July, the next few weeks seem to drag on. The good news is Big Ten media days and fall camp are right around the corner, giving us more to talk about before for the first game against Florida at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The last college football game there featured a Big Ten team and another from Michigan in the exciting 2017 Cotton Bowl.

Both teams will definitely travel well and Florida fans hope this game can help erase the disaster that was the 2016 Citrus Bowl when Michigan chomped the Gators by a final score of 41-7. While the hottest ticket that opening weekend is against Alabama and Florida State, average tickets for this matchup range from $100 up to nearly $1,000, according to Stub Hub.

How will you watch?
This is a new era for both schools with high expectations for this season. While the loser will not be out of the playoff picture quite yet, both want to start with a statement win against the other with momentum heading into the following weeks. This is a holiday weekend and for many like me, I will not be home and on vacation, but will find a way to watch.
