The last three days have brought two verbal commitments for the 2018 Michigan recruiting class. Outside linebacker Cameron McGrone committed on Monday, just two days after the BBQ at The Big House.

Three-star cornerback Sammy Faustin is now the latest of the bunch to commit to Michigan. He made his announcement today on Twitter. His top 10, which he released last month, included Michigan, Central Florida, Nebraska, Kentucky, North Carolina State, Maryland, Boston College, Virginia, Iowa State and South Florida.

The Naples, Florida native is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound athlete and is the No. 78 rated cornerback for 2018, according to 247Sports. He was also in Ann Arbor this past weekend for the BBQ at The Big House.

His junior year stats:

30 solo tackles/38 total, 3.8 tackles per game, 1 interception, 1 forced fumble and 2 fumble recoveries.

Faustin joins Myles Sims, Gemon Green and German Green as the fourth cornerback for Michigan’s 2018 class. This will be a smaller class than 2017 with around 15-20 commits.
