Jim Harbaugh took to the podium a short time ago for his Monday press conference. Harbaugh was asked a variety of questions. One of the most notable answers was Harbaugh will no longer be giving any information to the media. Harbaugh’s explanation was that there’s no require injury report he must give, and that it isn’t fair for the player to have the information out in the public when they are “working through something”.

On Rashan Gary: “I thought he had one of his best games.”

On Mo Hurst: “Probably played the best of our up front defensive players.”

Difference in Ty Issac this year: “He’s progressed, he’s capitalized on opportunities. He’s always been a good football player, now he’s better.” “I thought he had some I would quote as spectacular plays.”

Grant Newsome’s health: “Continuing to get better. He’s running, he’s working out everyday. He’s coaching, he’s a student teacher right now.” “Hopefully, best scenario he could be back practicing for a bowl game.”

Mason Cole’s performance: “He’s been unbelievable. Arguably the most valuable player on the offense.”

Wilton Speight’s performance: “I think he’s doing fine.”

Donovan Jeter’s health: Undergoing surgery and will be out for the season
