The Jim Harbaugh era at Michigan has featured groundbreaking ways of doing things, and that trend continues with a documentary series on Amazon Prime. The series, entitled Unscripted, will begin airing in January 2018.
The series will be quite similar to the NFL docu-series on HBO, ‘Hard Knocks’. Cameras will follow Michigan players and staff around, on and off the field.
"We welcome judgment! We embrace this opportunity to showcase our 2017 University of Michigan football team to a vast audience around the world." Harbaugh said.
The Big Ten Network and Amazon are partnering for the eight episode series.
"We think documenting this season will reveal that our university and football program are unique environments that equip our student-athletes for success in both academics and athletics." said athletic director Warde Manuel.
The series will show recruits (and fans) what Harbaugh and his staff are like behind the scenes. For any recruit who wonders what it would be like to play for Michigan, this series will answer a lot of questions.
Much of the series episodes are yet to be recorded, as Michigan has a lot of games left to be played. The story does not have a conclusion right now, but the better Michigan does, the better the story of this series will become.
