Good afternoon, everybody, and welcome to this week’s game thread.
I will not be able to comment this week; I will be standing up in a friend’s wedding just as the game is set to begin. And pending what time the U-M/MSU game kicks off, I may miss that game due to another wedding. I’m going to be so nervous, y’all.

Michigan’s defense was able to hold Air Force’s triple option offense to less than 200 yards rushing last weekend, a success in its own regard, but the offense still took a beating to a team that it shouldn’t have. Air Force’s D-line owned the line of scrimmage all game, even though Ty Isaac almost had another 100-yard game while Karan Higdon put up more than 60 yards and a TD. The box score has not done justice this year when breaking down Michigan games, to say the least.
Now the Wolverines head to West Lafayette, Indiana to take on the red hot Purdue Boilermakers, a team that just three weeks ago took Louisville down to the wire.
Today’s question: How does the pass defense look against David Blough and the Purdue pass attack? The secondary wasn’t called upon to make very many plays last weekend against Air Force, but it will more than likely be heavily relied on against the Boilermakers.
Enjoy the game, everyone!
