Jim Harbaugh speaks about John O’Korn’s performance

Harbaugh was proud

NCAA Football: Michigan at Purdue Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Things looked bleak for a moment when Michigan Wolverines starting quarterback Wilton Speight was injured. While the news was unfortunate, the Wolverines had a quarterback come in and pass this challenge on the road with flying colors, John O’Korn.

After the game I asked Jim Harbaugh what he thought of O’Korn’s performance:

“I thought John played really good. He was seeing things really good right from the time he came into the ball-game, ran the offense well, made the big plays. The throw that he hit to Gentry on the seam-route down the middle was a big time throw. And he had others. I thought he played great. I’m really proud of him, proud of the whole team. As you say, when you go beat another man, you gotta do that, then you go against the crowd as you mention, and you gotta beat the elements... nothing will make you feel like a man more than that. All three of those things.”

On the day O’Korn was 18-26 for 270 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 tipped pass interception.
