Michigan had a convincing 33-17 against Florida on Saturday, and they have moved up in the polls because of it. Michigan lands at No. 8 in both the Coaches Poll and AP Top 25.

Other moves of note:
- Clemson moves from No. 5 to No. 3 in both polls
- Penn State moves up from No. 6 to No. 4 in both polls after shutting out Akron 52-0
- Florida drops from No. 16 to No. 24 in the Coaches Poll, and down to No. 22 in the AP.
- Florida State dropped to No. 9 in the AP Poll, and No. 10 in the Coaches Poll
- Wisconsin remains No. 9 in the AP, and moves down a spot to No. 11 in the Coaches Poll
