The Michigan Wolverines have their sights set on the top rated prospect of 2020, defensive end Bryan Bresee. This weekend Bresee had an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor with his parents, where they met with Jim Harbaugh, Pep Hamilton, Greg Mattison and others.
Maize ‘n’ Brew spoke with Bresee about his visit. The 6-5 230 lb end from Damascus High School (Maryland) had nothing but positive things to say about his experience at U-M.
Bresee talked about meeting with Harbaugh, Rashan Gary, Greg Mattison, Pep Hamilton, among others.
Here are some highlights from our conversation
On Jim Harbaugh
“He’s very outgoing, he’s a really good guy.”
Meeting With Greg Mattison
“When I was with coach Mattison we kind of went over what I would be and what I’d be playing there. It definitely fits what I would like to play in college.”
“He definitely knows what he’s doing, he has a lot of schemes.”
New workout facilities
“They got top notch stuff there. The new stuff they’re putting in is crazy. The basketball court was really nice. I guess that’s what you get when you’re sponsored by Jordan.”
“It’s definitely one or two (best facilities he’s seen)
Where Michigan is headed
“I think they’ll do big things in the next couple years.”
Meeting Rashan Gary
“We got to watch the D-Line a little a bit, and I asked them if they’d walk me through the locker room, we just talked for a little bit, it was good. He gave me a little bit of advice about picking schools and what you should look for, it was a good conversation.”
What he thought of Ann Arbor
“It was super nice. They were going through statistics and it was the best place to live in the United States. The campus was awesome.”
