2019 Cornerback Mike Sainristil
The first player reportedly offered by the Wolverines this week was Mike Sainristil, a 5-foot-10, 175-pound three-star cornerback in the 2019 class.
Hailing from Everett, Mass., Sainristil has offers to play from a variety of schools, including Penn State, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Boston College, Virginia Tech and Rutgers, among others.
2019 Defensive Tackle DeWayne Carter
Michigan also extended an offer Monday to 2019 defensive tackle DeWayne Carter, a position of need moving forward for the Wolverines in this class.
Carter is from Pickerington, Ohio. That city should ring a bell if you follow Michigan recruiting, or Michigan football in general, as former Michigan defensive end Taco Charlton is also from Pickerington.
Carter isn’t a highly ranked recruit at this time — three-star, 420th ranked overall recruit, 24th ranked defensive tackle according to 247Sports’ composite — but he may be when it’s all said and done thanks to an impressive offer sheet from the likes of Ohio State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Northwestern, West Virginia and others.
2019 Defensive Tackle Rodas Johnson
Another defensive tackle offered by Michigan on Monday, Johnson is listed at 6-foot-3 and 285 pounds. He is from Columbus, Ohio (ew) and is a four-star recruit. He is the 198th ranked prospect and the 14th ranked defensive tackle in the country, according to 247Sports’ composite.
Johnson already has a very impressive offer sheet from the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin and Notre Dame.
2019 Defensive End Derrick McLendon
McLendon is another Georgia native that is being heavily recruited by most of the SEC. The four-star is listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, and is the 270th ranked overall player and the 17th ranked weakside defensive end in his class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
He has offers to play for Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Michigan State and others.
2019 Wide Receiver Zion Puckett
Yet another Georgia native offered by Jim Harbaugh and company, Puckett is listed at 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds. He is a four-star player, the 223rd ranked overall player and the 37th ranked receiver in his class, according to 247Sports’ composite.
Puckett has other offers to play at Alabama, Michigan State, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Stanford, UCF, Georgia Tech and Kentucky.
2019 Running Back Keilan Robinson
Listed at 5-foot-9 and 175 pounds, Robinson is listed as a three-star, the 380th ranked overall player and the 28th ranked running back in his class, according to 247Sports’ composite.
Robinson has other offers from Penn State, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Michigan State, Indiana and others.
2019 Quarterback Cade McNamara
Even though McNamara is currently committed to Notre Dame, he still received an offer from Michigan this past week. The four-star is the 307th ranked overall player and the eighth ranked pro-style quarterback, according to 247Sports’ composite.
The Reno, Nevada native also has offers to play for Tennessee, Wisconsin, San Diego State, Hawaii and Nevada.
2019 Quarterback Sam Howell
Another quarterback offered by U-M this week is Sam Howell, a four-star from Monroe, North Carolina.
He is the 225th ranked overall player and the fifth ranked pro-style quarterback in his class, according to 247Sports’ composite. He has offers to play for Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina and others.
2019 Defensive Back Tyler Rudolph
The Waterbury, Connecticut native is listed at 6-foot-1 and 197 pounds. The three-star is the 506th ranked overall player and the 35th ranked safety in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports’ composite. His other big offers come from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Maryland, Pitt and Syracuse.
2019 Cornerback Joshuah Moten
Moten is a 6-foot, 165-pound corner from Fort Washington, Maryland. He does not yet have a composite ranking, but has offers from Penn State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, South Carolina, Rutgers, North Carolina, Maryland and others.
2019 Defensive End Lloyd Summerall
Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing in at 218 pounds, Summerall is one big high school junior.
He does not currently have a ranking, but he does have offers from Florida State, Georgia, Miami (FL), Nebraska, Pitt, Rutgers, UNC and UCF. Summerall is from Auburndale, Florida.
2019 Athlete Marquis Wilson
Wilson, who hails from Avon, Connecticut, is listed at 6-foot, 165 pounds. He is a three-star athlete and has offers from Penn State, Maryland, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Pitt, to name the notables.
He is the 456th ranked overall recruit and the 45th ranked athlete, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
2019 Offensive Lineman Javonne Shepherd
Shepherd may be just a three-star, but he has the body and offer sheet of at least a four-star. Shepherd is listed at 6-foot-7 and 305 pounds. He is the 372nd ranked overall player and the 41st ranked offensive tackle according to 247Sports’ composite. He has offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Ole Miss, Michigan State, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee, among others.
2019 Linebacker Tra Wilkins
Yet another Georgia native offered by the Wolverines this week, Wilkins is listed at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds. He does not have a composite score just yet, but he does have offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, Nebraska, South Carolina and Louisville, among others.
2019 Defensive End Tre’Mon Morris-Brash
There are some really cool names in this bunch, and Morris-Brash is definitely one of them.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound defensive end is from Washington DC, and actually goes to the same high school as Michigan quarterback commit Kevin Doyle.
He does not have a composite ranking yet, but holds offers from Syracuse, South Carolina, Pitt, Rutgers, Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and Boston College.
2019 Tight End Jackson Lowe
The Cartersville, Georgia product is listed at 6-foot-5 and 242 pounds. He does not have a composite ranking yet, but will likely be a top target as he has offers from Alabama, Clemson, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina and UCF, among others.
2019 Tight End Garmon Randolph
The 6-foot-6, 215-pound tight end from Jefferson, Georgia is rated as the 305th overall prospect and 11th tight end in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports. He does not yet have a composite ranking.
Randolph also holds offers from Auburn, Florida, Louisville, N.C. State, Ole Miss, Clemson, South Carolina and Wisconsin.
2019 Quarterback Ty Evans
Even though Evans committed to Colorado last week, he still picked up a Michigan offer this week.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder from Monument, Colorado is a three-star pro-style quarterback. He is the 373rd ranked overall recruit and 10th ranked pro-style quarterback in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports’ composite.
Evans currently holds other offers from South Carolina, Arkansas, Northwestern and Kansas State, to name the notables.
2019 Cornerback Salim Turner-Muhammad
Turner-Muhammad is the type of cornerback Michigan seems to have been going away from in the 2018 class, as the Wolverines have been taking on taller corners. Turner-Muhammad is listed at 6-foot and 170 pounds and is from Alexandria, Virginia. He is the 428th ranked overall recruit and the 38th ranked corner in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports’ composite.
He holds other offers from Penn State, Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, Stanford, Virginia Tech, Duke, Rutgers, West Virginia and Wake Forest.
2019 Cornerback Aman Greenwood
Greenwood is another shorter cornerback offered by Michigan this week — listed at 6-foot, 180 pounds out of Washington, DC. He does not yet have a composite ranking.
The DC product has offers to play for Syracuse, Boston College, North Carolina, Rutgers and Pitt.
2020 Wide Receiver Rakim Jarrett
Also out of Washington DC — and the same school as Aman Greenwood — Jarrett is listed at 6-foot and 182 pounds. He does not yet have a composite ranking, but 247Sports lists him as the 69th ranked overall recruit and the 16th ranked wide receiver in the 2020 class.
Jarrett has offers to play at Virginia Tech, Penn State, Maryland, Boston College, Pitt, Syracuse, Temple and Virginia.
2020 Linebacker/Defensive End Mekhail Sherman
The third straight player based out of St. John’s College High School in Washington DC, Sherman is listed at 6-foot-3 and 234 pounds. He does not have a composite ranking yet, but 247Sports lists him as the 51st ranked overall player and the fifth outside linebacker in the 2020 class.
Sherman has other offers to play for Tennessee, Penn State, Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina and Syracuse.
2020 Defensive End Greg Hudgins
Make it FOUR straight from St. John’s Collge High School in DC. Greg Hudgins is a 6-foot-3, 226-pound weakside defensive end who is not yet ranked. His only two offers as of now are from Maryland and Michigan.
2020 Offensive/Defensive Lineman Jesse Polanksy
Polanksy received his very first offer Tuesday night from the Michigan Wolverines.
He is listed as an offensive guard and a defensive tackles, according to 247Sports, and is listed at 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds. Polanksy is from Suffield, Connecticut.
2020 Running Back Demarkcus Bowman
Bowman is a native of Lakeland, Florida and is listed at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds.
Bowman isn’t ranked yet, but he is getting offers from some of the best FBS schools, including Tennessee, Florida State, Oregon, Nebraska, Miami (FL) and South Carolina. One early crystal ball prediction has Bowman heading to Miami (FL).
2020 Defensive Tackle Tre Williams
By the time it’s all said and done, Williams will be one of the premier defensive tackles in the 2020 class. He is already ranked the 52nd best prospect and the sixth ranked defensive tackle in his class by 247Sports.
Williams is listed at 6-foot-3 and 275 pounds. He has offers from the likes of Penn State, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Texas A&M, Maryland and others.
2020 Defensive Tackle/Offensive Guard Golden Achumba
This dude’s name is Golden Achumba. That is dope, as the kids would say.
