Multiple reports have begun to surface that have current Cincinnati Bearcats defensive line coach Al Washington set to join the Michigan coaching staff. The Athletic’s Chris Vannini confirmed the news today.

While it’s currently unclear what role Washington will have on the staff, he has experience coaching running backs as well along with the defensive line during his tenure with Boston College. His time there overlapped with current Michigan defensive coordinator Don Brown.
