Donovan Peoples-Jones earns FWAA Freshman All-American roster honors

DPJ earns FWAA All-American roster honors.

The Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) announced today that Michigan freshman Donovan Peoples-Jones was awarded Freshman All-American Team honors. The Detroit native was a highly recruited five-star player from Cass Tech. He was an early enrollee in 2017 and fans were excited to see how his talent can make an immediate impact.

The 6-foot-2, 199 pound Wolverine made the roster as punt returner with his stats below for the 2017 season.

Total yards: 320

Avg. yards per punt return: 8.0

Longest return: 79 yards for a touchdown
