Michigan could be gaining a new member to the 2019 recruitment class.

Joseph Girard III from Glenn Falls High School will make his decision on Sunday at 7 p.m. of where he will play college basketball.

He will make the decision at Queensbury Hotel and it is open to the public, according to the high school. Girard has Michigan, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Penn State, Boston College and Duke in his final six schools.

The 6-foot-2 combination guard is a three-star recruit according to the 247Sports composite. He is currently predicted to pick Syracuse by 67 percent, according to the 247Sports crystal ball.

Girard visited with John Beilein and Michigan in January 2017. Beilein then visited again in April 2018. He received an offer from Michigan on Jan. 27, 2018.

As a junior, Girard averaged an outstanding 50 points, seven rebounds and six assists per game, which is a New York State scoring record. He was named the Gatorade State Basketball Player of the Year.

Girard is a two-sport athlete, also playing football for his high school.
