Michigan defensive end Rashan Gary is one of the top prospects in all of college football.
Many wondered whether the Michigan junior would return next season to the Maize and Blue, and now that question has been answered.
Gary will be declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft.
“I would like to thank my higher power, my family, the University of Michigan, the students and the fans, but I’m going to be forgoing my senior season to make a dream come true to declare for the draft. Thank you. Go Blue.”
It remains to be seen whether Gary will play in Michigan’s bowl game. If that is it for Rashan, he ends his Michigan career with 10.5 sacks and 134 tackles.
Gary’s decision comes as no surprise, he will likely be a top ten pick in the draft.
