The Michigan Wolverines won big over Penn State on Saturday, and the 42-7 victory has them moving up in the polls.
Michigan moves up from No. 5 to No. 4 in the Amway Coaches Poll and from No. 5 to No. 4 in the AP Top 25 as well
Rival Rankings
- Ohio State moved up to No. 7 in the Coaches poll and stayed at No. 8 in the AP after narrowly winning over Nebraska
- Penn State dropped all the way down to No. 21 in the AP and No. 20 in Coaches Poll after the loss to Michigan
- Notre Dame moved up to No. 3 in both polls
Michigan’s spot at No. 4 in both polls should come as no surprise. Although these polls are interesting, the only rankings that really matter from here on out are the ones the College Football Playoff committee release each Tuesday. Expect Michigan to land at No. 4 there this week as well.
