The Michigan basketball team continues to rise in the rankings, moving up one spot to No. 4 in this week’s AP Top 25 Poll.

U-M improved to 11-0 after a 70-62 win over Western Michigan on Saturday. It was the team’s lone game of the week.

The Wolverines currently boast wins over just one ranked opponent (No. 9 North Carolina), after Villanova dropped out. Both Villanova and Purdue received votes. The Tar Heels jumped up three spots after beating Gonzaga, which fell to No. 8.

This week, Michigan takes on Air Force at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22. It’s the second to last non-conference game of the season.
