Dax Hills Flips to Alabama

The 5-star Oklahoma safety announced his decision via Twitter late Saturday night.

5-star Oklahoma Safety Daxton Hill is flipping commitments to Alabama. He announced late Saturday night via Twitter.

The top-ranked player in the Sooner State originally planned to decide between Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Ohio State. He officially visited Ann Arbor on Sep. 15 for the SMU game.

Hill was ranked the the No. 7 player nationally per 247 Sports, as well as the the No. 1 safety prospect for the 2019 cycle. The current class has three true defensive backs still pledged in 4-star safety Quinten Johnson, 4-star corner Jalen Perry and 3-star corner D.J. Turner.

3-stars defensive backs in Joey Velazquez and Mike Saintrisil are possible position switches to Viper and wide receiver, respectively.
