According to TrojanSports.com ($), the University of Southern California Rivals affiliate, former Michigan offensive coordinator Tim Drevno is making a return to USC to become the Trojans’ new running backs coach.

Drevno was the offensive line coach and run game coordinator at USC in 2014 before joining Jim Harbaugh’s staff at Michigan in 2015.

Drevno is also returning to his home state, as he is from Torrance, California and played on the offense line at Cal State Fullerton during his collegiate career. He also started his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater.

Up to this point, no official announcement has been made by the University of Michigan or Jim Harbaugh about Drevno’s departure. It is also still unknown who exactly will be taking over as the offensive coordinator, although most signs point to new Michigan wide receivers coach Jim McElwain.
