Michigan defensive lineman Maurice Hurst was once thought to be a for sure first round pick in the NFL Draft. A medical red flag at the NFL Scouting Combine changed that trajectory, Hurst hasn’t been drafted in the first three rounds.
What would have been a shocking scenario is becoming a more rationale question to ask, will Mo Hurst even be drafted?
Various people have chimed in on Twitter, from pundits to former teammates, many have something to say about Hurst. Some are surprised he hasn’t been drafted, while some are now reporting many teams have Hurst off their draft board.
We compiled some of the reactions for you.

Been through adversity my whole life, just waiting for the right place to find me! This is my process

This is a bummer to see with Maurice Hurst. By far the best player available in the draft. I hope he's healthy, sees that Grady Jarrett was taken in the 5th round and comes in and kicks ass.

Every team is going to feel awfully silly when Mo Hurst becomes a perennial Pro Bowler. This is getting absurd.

Many Saturdays last year, Mo Hurst looked like the best interior d linemen in the country.

Mo Hurst is the best football player on the board. I feel awful about his situation.

Mo Hurst is gonna make 31 NFL GMs look really stupid in a few years

'I don't believe he'll be drafted. I could be wrong about this....' - Broaddus on Maurice Hurst. Says if his heart condition is 'corrected' then his football career is over.

When the takes are really bad to justify why Maurice Hurst hasn’t been drafted. pic.twitter.com/XVchkEOCVV

Hearing from a number of teams that there remains serious concern about the heart condition with DT Maurice Hurst. He is off a number of boards

Very real possibility Maurice Hurst is off everyone's board at this point

Whatever team selects @mohurstjr is getting a damn good football player and an awesome guy. He’s going to be a force in the league.

If NFL teams don't want him, the Michigan football team will gladly take Mo Hurst back for a sixth year

Mo Hurst will tear a hole in the league...
