Michigan quarterback Joe Milton spoke to the media in France and provided some insight into the Wolverines quarterback competition.

“I think right now after Spring Ball it’s like a four way tie,” Milton said. But when asked if he can throw the farthest of the quarterbacks Milton said he thinks he can.
Milton also spoke about the competition he and Shea Patterson have, and said that they are always competing on and off the field (calling plays, two minute drills, soccer, running, paintball, on the bus, on the plane ride).
While Milton will have an up-hill battle to claim the starting quarterback job, it sounds like that is his goal, which is the right mindset to have. The kid is a competitor.
