The annual BBQ at the Big House left some lasting impressions on prospects from multiple classes, but one player was so impressed he put Michigan in his theoretical list of top teams.
2019 4-star safety Josh Sanguinetti says Michigan would be in his top three, if he were to name a top three, after attending the recruiting event Saturday. The Michigan Insider’s Josh Newkirk first reported the news ($).
Sanguinetti is set to release his top 10 later this year, so for Michigan to be included in a potential top three is huge news for the Wolverines.
He also said he plans to come up to Ann Arbor this fall to visit during a game day, which is even more good news for Michigan.
The 5-foot-11.5, 173-pound Fort Lauderdale, Florida native is the 10th ranked safety and the 157th overall prospect in the 2019 class according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Sanguinetti is not intending to commit to a program until February’s National Signing Day, so this will be a battle to the finish for Jim Harbaugh and company.
